The golf legend, Tom Watson, has recently released his golf tutorial called "Lessons of a Lifetime".  This tutorial includes a booklet and a DVD set consisting of two discs.  Unlike many other tutorials, this set continues to enjoy critical acclaim as having the best golf education content ever produced.

One particular review of the Tom Watson DVD says that Tom had done an excellent job.  Then another reviewer says that it was the best instruction he had ever received.  This instructional video gives golfers a comprehensive guide for playing golf both effectively and professionally.  With simplicity, but in great detail, Tom demonstrates the methods that are the best golf fundamentals complete with specific types of shots.  As a bonus, Tom also includes his swing approach that has helped him win countless majors.

He uses examples to teach and explanations that are not confusing and do not move too fast.  He also includes his personal testimonies and experiences, which not only help Tom to explain the different lessons, but relates to the fans and viewers.  The clarity of this presentation makes a great DVD set for golfers of any age or skill level.

Any serious golfer will understand the importance of precision and accuracy, but hills and even rain can make it very difficult to accurately judge distance.  Many golfers are starting to use a laser rangefinder in order to compensate for any uncertainty, but which ones are the best lasers?

One particular laser which continues to get good reviews is a Tournament Edition Bushnell Pro 1600.  This Bushnell Pro 1600 has taken golf to another level.  The laser rangefinder is loaded with pinseeker mode, which means that it has the capability of zooming in to the flag and of course, it includes a standard scan mode as well with built-in reflectors in order to evaluate distance.  Its design makes it very user friendly and extremely simple to operate. It has a conveniently large ocular as well as multi-coated optics.  This specific rangefinder is unmatched by any other because it can account for elevation, which eliminates the threat of either under or over shooting.  Also, rainy days will be no problem because this rangefinder is waterproof and it has rainguard HD.

The Bushnell Pro 1600's minimum range is five yards, 1600 yards for reflective surfaces, 1000 yards for trees, and 400 yards for flags- more than enough for any golfer, with the possible exception of a young Mike Austin! (Mike holds the longest drive record at 515 yards)
